The project started as the replacement of another CRM system, which had failed. The data migration was challenging, as the data structures in both source and target systems were different.
However, it was successfully finished, using ec4u data migration best practices and automation tools. To extend the sales processes with the compliance-related steps, the specific survey type module was designed and implemented, using comprehensive Dynamics CRM extension possibilities.
The focus of the project was placed on sales and marketing processes, which were automated and provide different user experiences, like outlook integration, offline and mobile clients. The standard dashboards in the CRM for the sales managers were enhanced with the cloud-based PowerBI business intelligence solution for the top-managers of the group.
This solution provides all the reports that until now have been manually prepared in the interactive, daily-updated “clickand-see” view. Integration with SharePoint Online allowed storing of all the documentation, relevant for opportunities and customers in one place, linked to specific records in the CRM.
Standard activity management of the Dynamics CRM ensured that all communication with the customer is in one place. The ec4u project management allowed to stay in budget and terms and to provide the best service quality. The iterative Scrum approach ensured the right requirements were implemented first. Trainings, provided by ec4u, allowed the end-users to start usage of the systems right after the go-live.
Right testing approaches, including UAT, ensured better user acceptance and loyalty during the system handover. Integration with the Oracle EBS enabled smoothly integrated processes through both systems and ensured high data quality
