Starting up as a pharmacy in 1872, Engelhard Arzneimittel has grown in over 140 years into an international company with more than 350 employees. It is one of the leading producers of OTC medications sold in pharmacies.
ec4u assisted Engelhard Arzneimittel to implement and go live with the Veeva CRM system in April 2016, and to interface the SAP ERP system as well as external customer master data.
Once the decision was made to set up the Veeva CRM system, ec4u was tasked with the implementation as a Veeva partner. In the first design step of the solution, ec4u mapped Engelhard Arzneimittel‘s software requirements to plan the implementation and prepare the specifications.
Emphasis was placed here on integrating the Veeva CRM and SAP ERP systems for customer master data and orders. The specs served as the basis to commence the configuration and customize the Veeva CRM system. The core features delivered during implementation included:
- Veeva CRM iPad app (mobile & offline)
- Electronic order capture Bidirectional interfacing of SAP for master data, mobile data, and orders
- Digital sample management
- Presentation module (CLM)
ec4u conducted this project with its proven semiagile project methodology, based on the specs and regular customer interviews. These included design, testing, review, deployment, training, and change management. Moreover, ec4u also coordinated the integration of SAP on the SAP and middleware side.
