ec4u awarded the Gold Recognition Level in EcoVadis’ CSR Rating 3rd time in a row 

In August 2017 the consulting firm ec4u expert consulting ag (ec4u) once more reached the Gold Recognition Level in the CSR rating of the international rating agency EcoVadis. It is now among the TOP 3% in the category “computer programming, consultancy and related activities” and also among the TOP 2% of all companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis. The company has been able to confirm last year’s result and proves its sustainable orientation.  

EcoVadis aims at improving environmental and social practices by consistently using global supply chains. For this purpose, the agency operates the first SaaS platform that allows companies to analyze and to assess the performance of their business partners in 150 industries and 110 countries. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the voluntary commitment to sustainably run a business considering social aspects. 

The CSR rating aims to achieve a clear picture of the practices applied and to allow for a responsible choice of business partners. The assessment is based on 21 criteria, subdivided into the themes environment, fair labor practices, ethics/fair business practices and supply chain. The methodology is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative and the ISO 26000. 

In the CSR rating, ec4u was assessed applying these criteria, and ranked among the TOP 2% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis.
